I have a client that I've built out Amelia for, who is using it to book time in an events center that has several different spaces for rent by the hour. However, they have a few clients already on the books, and I need to find a way to block specific spaces and specified times to prevent others from overlapping with the existing schedule.
I've tried manually adding appointments on the backend, but that is a ton of manual entry, even with the ability to duplicate.
Is there a way to export a CSV and upload an edited version with the times blocked out, or is there an even easier way to accomplish this using Amelia's front-end tools?
You can integrate Google Calendar with Amelia, and any busy events in Google Calendar will automatically block those timeslots in Amelia. This would be a much more efficient way to prevent double bookings without manually adding each appointment in the backend.
Let me know if you need help setting up the integration!
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

As you can see from these screenshots, the Google Calendar events have not synced over to Amelia. It is my understanding that communication between Google Calendar and Amelia should be bi-directional. If I add an event to Google Calendar and mark it "Busy" on the synced Google Calendar, that block of time should show up as booked on the Amelia calendar.
Events from Google Calendar will not be displayed in Amelia, but busy events from Google Calendar will block time slots in Amelia. For that purpose, please make sure that the "Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots" option is enabled on the Amelia/Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar page. Also, you can increase the "Maximum Number Of Events Returned" option as well.
I gave you access to the WordPress backend. So, you know that option is enabled and was when you initially logged in using the account I created for you.
I'm telling you that even with that option enabled, this function is not syncing, and I need someone from TMS to determine why.
As mentioned in my previous response, events from Google Calendar will not appear in Amelia. The synchronization only works one way—appointments from Amelia will be pushed to Google Calendar, but not the other way around.
The attached screenshot from your previous message contradicts what you're saying now.
Based on the original ask, needing a way to block out time in Amelia to avoid overbooking, you suggested integrating Google Calendar. Are you indicating that the blocked time slots will not appear in Amelia's calendar, but a customer will not have that time slot available to book when making an appointment?
It seems entirely counter-intuitive that the employee or admin would not also be able to view the appointments that are blocked out due to the Google Calendar integration, as it would make it confusing for them to add appointments to the Amelia calendar when the Google Calendar blocked times are invisible.
To show that this is not working how it is supposed to, I have included a screenshot of two appointments I've added to Google Calendar, and it looks like Amelia is still showing the same 6 PM timeslot available on March 6th.
Thank you for your message. In order to better understand the issue, could you please share your Google Calendar with me? This will allow me to take a closer look and see how the integration is behaving.

There does not appear to be any communication between Amelia and Google Calendar.lieve I have this all set correctly based on this video:
