We are sending Amelia notifications with custom field values, including an image upload field. While the custom field data appears in the notification, employees are unable to open the uploaded image via email—the image is blocked, showing an error.
Our requirement is to make the media files accessible to everyone without requiring login. How can we achieve this so that anyone can open and view the files easily?
Below are attached screenshot of the issue what error exactly it's thrown.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we can log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
To ensure that image files are accessible without requiring users to log in, you will need to manage access permissions for the wp-content/uploads/amelia/files folder. This is currently the only option available. You may need to adjust file and folder permissions via FTP, cPanel, or a file manager plugin to allow public access.
If you need any guidance on how to do this, feel free to reach out.
Thank you for your patience. I’ve noted the issue you’re experiencing with the file manager plugin. While we are planning to address it in the future, I suggest you check if any recent updates or settings adjustments may resolve the problem in the meantime. If you need specific guidance or steps on how to proceed with the implementation, feel free to let me know!
I wanted to inform you that the issue you're experiencing with accessing uploaded image files will be addressed in a future update. However, there is no specific ETA for when this update will be released.
In the meantime, if you need further assistance or have any additional questions, feel free to reach out!
