is it possible to see, if the customer or the employee canceled an appointment? The Amelia Manager needs this information in order to decide with whom to follow up about the cancellation.
Alternative: If we can disallow employees to cancel appointments, this would also work for us since we can allow them to reject the appointment instead.
(The employees use Amelia through WordPress login, not via the employee panel.)
All appointments are visible in the Appointment section, where you'll find the appointment status on the right side. This status is updated in real time, so when there is a status change, it will be reflected in the Appointment section (you just need to refresh the page).
You can add the Amelia Manager's email address in the "Send email to the additional address" field in the Notification settings. However, please note that this will send all notifications to this email, including confirmation emails and other notifications.
Additionally, you can adjust employee permissions by going to the User Role section under "Employee."
Hi Stefan, thanks for your reply. The described features are known to us, but what's missing is to see WHO has canceled an appointment. Was it done by the customer (they can do it via the customer panel) or by the employee (they are using the WP backend)? Can I see this information somewhere?
The emails are already CC'ed to the manager (and we limited the "spamming" using email filters ;)), but in the email notifications I could not find a variable to add the info "The appointment has been canceled by <missing-variable>".
I see now what you’re referring to—I wasn’t sure at first. Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you, as this information isn’t currently visible. The notifications are sent and the appointment status is updated, however, there is no information who triggers the cancelation.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
