This happens every. single. time. I try to create a new service and put it on the website.
Please fix your plugin. It is incredibly frustrating. I've done everything you are supposed to do and it still does not show up. "Adult Fitness Sessions" is a service in Amelia, it is set as visible, it is tied to an employee, the employee has the correct hours set, and the category is linked.
This happens every time I try to make a new service. Please please please fix your plugin. It has so much potential but never works when making changes.
I've used this support forum way too many times for basic functions not working. It's as if Amelia does not update immediately. Clearing the cache for the website does not work. I would suggest making Amelia auto update it's cache every time you make a change on the backend.
Adding to this, it seems no changes on the backend of Amelia save to the front end. Changing services, adding services, adding packages - nothing updates to the front end of the website.
2. If they are, is the employee assigned to these services?
3. If he is, check his working hours. Working hours where services are defined in the intervals will only show the services defined there. Make sure these two services are also included:
In the example above, the employee is assigned to 3 services, but 2 newly added services are not automatically assigned to the employee's working hours, even though they may be assigned to him/her in the Assigned Services tab. If you want the employee to work on all services that you have, you should clear this selection, and every new service will be added automatically.
4. Did you assign the employee to another location? If you did, please go to Amelia/Locations, and make sure that the location is visible.
5. Check the shortcode on the front-end - if you (for example) used [ameliabooking category=1], and you added the service to Category with ID: 2, the new service from category 2 will not appear in the front-end.
Also, make sure that you clear the cache and let me know if that works for you.
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, I have done all of those things.
It seems the issue is that Amelia does not actually update the front end services with back end changes. Clearing the website cache and the wordpress cache does not update it either, and there is no option to clear Amelia cache in the Amelia settings.
I've tested it with existing services by changing them, and it does not reflect the new changes at all on the front end. How do I make sure changes are reflected immediately? I've changed multiple things and no changes I make actually reflect on the website. It's as if the website is frozen from changes no matter what I change.
Thanks for the update. Since the issue was resolved after updating Amelia, have you also checked this with the hosting provider to rule out any server-side caching or configuration issues? Let me know if you need further assistance.
I've tried everything from clearing the global cache and updating pages and forms. Amelia just simply won't update any changes made from the backend in between Amelia updates. Once Amelia updates, we have to wait for the next Amelia update in order for changes to be saved. This makes me believe it is an Amelia caching problem, because clearing Wordpress cache does not work. However, there is no "Clear Amelia Cache" button.
Once you all update the plugin and we install the new update, all changes are made. After the update, no changes save until the next Amelia update.
Here is an example attached, where "People" should now display "Additional Cages / People" as shown on the backend, but the front end still just says "People". Even small things like label customization changes in text do not update.
Uros is out of the office, so I'll jump in real quick.
Thanks for the details! Amelia itself does not have an internal caching system, so any delay in reflecting front-end changes is most likely due to server-side caching, a caching plugin, or browser cache.
Why this is happening:
When you update settings in the Customize section, Amelia generates a new .js file in the following location: 📂 ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/public/js/chunks/
However, if caching is enabled on the server, the front-end may still be trying to load the old cached file, which no longer exists after the update. That’s why changes don’t appear immediately.
How to check if this is the issue:
1️⃣ Make a small change in the Customize section (e.g., tweak a label). 2️⃣ Inspect the page (F12 in Chrome) → Console tab 3️⃣ Look for an error pointing to a missing file in the ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/public/js/chunks/ folder. 4️⃣ If the file doesn’t exist in that folder but is still being requested, then the issue is cached resources.
How to fix this:
Clear all caches (website cache, server cache, and browser cache).
If the issue persists, ask your hosting provider to check their caching settings and exclude Amelia’s files from caching.
This isn’t an Amelia-specific issue, as all users would be affected if it were. Instead, it’s likely that your server or caching plugin is holding onto old resources, which get refreshed when Amelia updates—hence why it seems like the update fixes it.

Hello Hughes,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please check these points:
1. Are these services visible on the site?
2. If they are, is the employee assigned to these services?
3. If he is, check his working hours. Working hours where services are defined in the intervals will only show the services defined there. Make sure these two services are also included:

Hello Hughes,
Thank you for the update on this.
I tested it out and the booking form appears just fine.
As the changes from Amelia's back-end are immediately stored in the database, this is most likely an issue with server configuration or cache.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

It only started working after an Amelia update, which is the same thing that happened last time the issue came up.
Clearing the cache did not fix the issue but the update did.
