The %payment_link_woocommerce% works but it is not working with the waiting list customers. So when they book event directly they should get the payment link but when they are approved from waiting list they do not get the link at the moment and your dev team is already working on fixing this.
One thing I’m wondering with having the link in the email—does that mean we’ll have to make the products public? I know we’ve come up against this issue in the past where people were able to access the products without registering for the class, which then caused the class to be oversold. I want to make sure that this won’t cause an issue if we implement this feature.
Regarding the issue with the payment link, yes, our development team is working on resolving it for waiting list customers, and it will be fixed soon.
As for your concern about making the products public: implementing the payment link feature will not cause an issue with overselling the class. The registration and booking process will still ensure only those who are properly registered can access the class.
Please let me know if you have any further questions!
Basically what has happened in the past is that people are able to purchase the class product from WooCommerce, but that doesn’t actually register them for the class, leading them to show up for a class that they’ve paid for but haven’t actually registered for. This is why we have all of the class products hidden from the public.
Thanks for clarifying that! Yes, based on what you've explained, it’s best to keep the class products private to avoid any issues with registration. If you need help with any other setup or adjustments, feel free to reach out!

Does that make sense?
