a customer bought a package and comes in a group appointment. the customer forgets to book the appointment in customer panel. there is no way to alter the number of remaining appointments in the package for me. when i try to go to manage packages and try to book an appointment i get a warning 'By booking this time slot you will book appointment on top of existing group appointment'
can you describe the workflow how i can alter the remaining appointments in the package.
i already tried to add customers to the existing appointment like this example starke sissi
However when you add someone to the existing group appointment then the only option is that the added customer has payed 'cash' ( Zahlung vor ort in german )
There is no way to alter this that this was payed from the customers package. Can you elaborate how this can be done - how I can deduct his appointment from the package in any way in the worst case even just reduce the number of the remaining appointments in the package
in the very worst case where do you store this in the mariadb sidecar that runs with wordpress exactly ?
Thank you for helping out this is vital for my business
Hello Alex, I'm not from Amelia support, but funnily enough, I've ran into the exact same issue.
It seems that this hasn't been well thought out by the Amelia dev team and is lacking a better way to handle this logic.
An ugly quick fix I did was to Go to Services > Packages > Manage Packages > Find the package of this particular person > Book a package appointment for this person: 1. You won't be able to set this person's package appointment to their corresponding timeslot and date. 2. However you can book it within whatever different time timeslot and date, just for the sake of removing the appointment from user's package.
thank you for your reply. Happy to hear i am not the only one who struggle with this.
I do already know this dirty workaround. But its suboptimal for me because of three things:
1. customer gets an email notification although i unticked the customer notification. And on his end it looks if i had just approved an appointment in the past which he never participated in.
2. i have very few appointment options. And they are mostly group appointments (yoga, coaching classes). For example i have only one timeslot a week for a particular package so i cannot pick slightly deviating time to reduce. So i the time i could do this would be couple of months behind.
3. i need precise booking for documentation purposes.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we can log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I understand the security policies in place. We can proceed with a screen-sharing session via AnyDesk. Let me know a suitable time for you, and we’ll arrange the session accordingly.
Any updated on this issue? It is making a mess in business, would gladly appreciate a solution to this! Also, Uros, this is replicable in absolutely any instance of Amelia, as this isn't a bug
No need for an AnyDesk session—this issue will be worked on and addressed in a future update. If you have any further questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out.
Alex, hello. If you still struggle with this, I figured this could help you aswell, but I created an add-on plug-in in which you can
1. AJAX search for a customer in Amelia's userbase. 2. Display specific customer's active package or packages. 3. Retrieve "package-less" sessions from that specific customer and service (which, in my case, are the ones that I've added manually on the backend) 4. Merge the chosen "package-less" session into the customers package, essentially removing that specific credit from your customer's package. It will also be seen as a normal previous booking from the client's panel. And it doesn't send a notification. 5. Remove the leftover trash payment entry on the DB.
Let me know if you would like to try it, I have no issues in sharing the source code with you
That sounds like a very useful add-on! We'd love to test it out as well. Could you share the source code with us also? It would be great to see how it integrates with Amelia.
Thanks for sharing that! We'll take a look and let you know if this could be useful for native feature development. Appreciate your willingness to collaborate!
I have some major news ( maybe ) It seems to work out of the box when you use the phone... The yellow warning shows up but when you click save again it seems to work can you try and confirm?
That’s interesting! Could you please provide a screen recording showing how it works on your end? This will help us better understand the behavior and confirm the issue.
Thank you for the clarification! Yes, this behavior is currently how it works. Users need to click twice in order to complete the booking. The first click acknowledges the warning, and the second one finalizes the booking. It seems like the system is working as intended.

Hallo Uros,
thank your very much for your quick reply.
unfortunatelly i cant provide admin credentials due to our security company policy and by also by law.
But i am happy to invite you to a screen sharing session whenever you want. I can also provide more screenshots for each click until the bug appears.
@Remi444 once any solution is figured out, i will let you know in this ticket.
Please help us out.
kind regards

Hi, Uros, its the same picture as on the desktop. You have to click twice to accept the booking. Then it just works.
kind regards.
here are the screenshots, when you first click on it:
when you second click on it:
im on amelia version 8.1.1 and it works passed the first warning with the second click on both systems mobile or pc.
kind regards
