a customer bought a package and comes in a group appointment. the customer forgets to book the appointment in customer panel. there is no way to alter the number of remaining appointments in the package for me. when i try to go to manage packages and try to book an appointment i get a warning 'By booking this time slot you will book appointment on top of existing group appointment'
can you describe the workflow how i can alter the remaining appointments in the package.
i already tried to add customers to the existing appointment like this example starke sissi
However when you add someone to the existing group appointment then the only option is that the added customer has payed 'cash' ( Zahlung vor ort in german )
There is no way to alter this that this was payed from the customers package. Can you elaborate how this can be done - how I can deduct his appointment from the package in any way in the worst case even just reduce the number of the remaining appointments in the package
in the very worst case where do you store this in the mariadb sidecar that runs with wordpress exactly ?
Thank you for helping out this is vital for my business
Hello Alex, I'm not from Amelia support, but funnily enough, I've ran into the exact same issue.
It seems that this hasn't been well thought out by the Amelia dev team and is lacking a better way to handle this logic.
An ugly quick fix I did was to Go to Services > Packages > Manage Packages > Find the package of this particular person > Book a package appointment for this person: 1. You won't be able to set this person's package appointment to their corresponding timeslot and date. 2. However you can book it within whatever different time timeslot and date, just for the sake of removing the appointment from user's package.
thank you for your reply. Happy to hear i am not the only one who struggle with this.
I do already know this dirty workaround. But its suboptimal for me because of three things:
1. customer gets an email notification although i unticked the customer notification. And on his end it looks if i had just approved an appointment in the past which he never participated in.
2. i have very few appointment options. And they are mostly group appointments (yoga, coaching classes). For example i have only one timeslot a week for a particular package so i cannot pick slightly deviating time to reduce. So i the time i could do this would be couple of months behind.
3. i need precise booking for documentation purposes.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we can log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

If there’s a less ugly solution for this problem, please let me know about because for me, as Alex, this has been a problem
