I am experiencing an issue with displaying appointment details on a custom page after booking. Here’s a breakdown of the problem:
Issue Details:
I want to show an appointment summary on a custom page after a user completes a booking.
I have tried using the shortcode [amelia_booking_confirmation], but it does not display any appointment details.
I also attempted to use [amelia_customer_panel], but it does not dynamically show the latest booking immediately after booking.
I set up the redirect URL after booking to my custom page, but the booking details are not being passed correctly.
I tested for conflicts by disabling other plugins and clearing the cache, but the issue persists.
What I Need Help With: How can I correctly display the appointment summary on my custom page immediately after a booking is made? Are there any additional settings I need to enable for the confirmation details to appear? If the shortcode method does not work, is there an alternative way (such as webhooks) to pull and display the appointment details dynamically? I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your guidance.
The appointment details are always displayed on the final (confirmation) page, also known as the summary page. The shortcodes you are trying to use are not intended for this purpose. The amelia_booking_confirmation is not a valid shortcode, and amelia_customer_panel is the correct shortcode for the customer panel.
If you want to use the Redirect URL option, it only works when a customer clicks on the "Finish" button after booking. It does not trigger immediately after the summary page is displayed—they must click "Finish" to be redirected. You can set the redirect URL in the General Settings section.
There are some API endpoints that you can use to get the information, you can find more information on this link.
