    Hello!

Your site lists a number of charts that can be integrated, but doesn't include the entire HighCharts library. I am hoping to clarify whether it will be possible to insert the below chart style using WPDataTables

    https://www.highcharts.com/demo/highcharts/pie-drilldown

    Thanks!

    Hi Dave,

At the moment, we do not have this chart type available.
When it comes to adding new chart types - We don't have any built in feature for our users to add it, only our developers can do that.

You can check out all the currently available chart types and examples of wpDataCharts documentation here .

For any chart which we don't have at the moment and you wish to see it added, you can suggest it to our developers - they will do their best to make a solution in the future.

Please feel free to search on our suggestions page

to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

If you have coding skills and wish to try to customize our Plugin in any way, you can check out our available hooks for Developers on this documentation and see if you can find any hook that might help.

We also added this new developer's handbook, which can allow users with coding skills to make custom add-ons.

Our developers will keep adding more custom hooks/examples there over time.

Please be advised that custom solutions with hooks are not included in our support.

You can also research resources such as Stack Overflow to see if any other user perhaps found a workaround.

( We do like to give examples for certain solutions, but for this use-case, we, unfortunately, don't have anything yet)

    2. You can also modify/customize the existing charts via custom chart callbacks, that could help.

That is the default behavior of the charts engine, but if you need some custom solution you can check our documentation about wpDataCharts callbacks

    • Every chart exposes several options that customize its look and feel. Charts usually support custom options appropriate to that visualization. wpDataChart callbacks allow adding options that are available in Google Charts APIHighcharts API, and Chart.js API
    • All necessary resources are available in charts engines API (depends on which one you use). Every engine has a different approach to chart settings. In wpDataChart callbacks, you have to adopt those settings to the wpDataChart object (you can take a look at examples for each engine in our documentation, and also in the Support help center). A huge number of examples for any area of programming can be found on stackoverflow.com (typing your problem in google and at the end add "site: stackoverflow.com" and Google will search only that website). Also, a lot of examples of charts, chart settings, and customization can be found on jsffidle.net (typing in google for example "line chart highcharts jsffidle")
    • Please note that using hooks or wpDataTable and wpDataChart callbacks requires a certain level of programming skills and included support refers only to advice.

And i just wanted to point out that you can try wpDataTables before purchasing

on our sandbox Demo sites ( you can find links for the main plugin Demo,

as well as add-on Demos, in my signature),

and there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period,

so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period. ( same goes for all plugins and add-ons)

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind Regards,
