We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I was wondering wheter it is possible to book in the current timeslot.
In our situation we have 3 timeblocks from 3h30 each day. They are for example from 8u30 until 12u00. For our occasion it would be nessesary that one can book for this timeslot while its actually 9h for example.
Is this possible and how?
Thanks
Laurent
Hi Laurent,
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. The customer can only book a timeslot based on the configuration and the current date and time. For example, if the current time is 10 AM, only the timeslots from 10 AM onward will be visible, as the customer can’t book a past appointment.
Also, if your timeslot is from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM, and someone books that timeslot, no other customer will be able to book a slot in between (e.g., at 9 AM), since the employee is already booked.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I understand that this isn't possible. Sadly for our cause we would need some system where this would be possible.
Our timeslots would always be as folows:
08:30 - 12:00
13:15 - 16:45
18:00 - 21:30
We use this website only for making appointments. Since it isn't possbible to do it from within Amelia, I was wondering if it could be a solution to set the time of the website -3 hours to the actual time? Its not that the time is shown anywhere on the webiste I think?
Thanks for thinking with me.
Laurent
Hi Laurent,
Changing the timezone configuration could actually cause more issues, as having the correct timezone is crucial. It's important to select the nearest city in your timezone to avoid discrepancies.
If you still need a solution, one option would be to add another employee with work hours set in between, but please note that this will result in the timeslot being assigned to that specific employee.

Hi,
I work for a school and we would actually use it for a new cause:
I know Amelia is not designed to do something like that, but we already own a license for Amelia and as a school our budget doesn't allow anything else for this moment.
So, we are 99% there and the solution looks to be working really great. However we have one issue left.
In most occasions a student just needs to book one laptop. However, as the IT department we sometimes would need to book 10 of them in one time, or maybe all of them, in order to do maintenance. Is there in this case a way to book those '10' of 'all' employees at once (front-or-backend)?
Thank you for helping out!
Laurent
Hi Laurent,
From the backend, unfortunatelly no, but for the frontend, there is an option called "Cart". This would allow your customers to book multiple appointments for multiple services per one booking. However, I'm not sure if this is suitable for your needs because this only works when customers want to book appointments. And the downside is that this option is only available for Pro and Elite license holders.
You can find more information on this link.
