I'm reaching out because my site’s performance has severely declined, and I’m experiencing particularly slow load speeds. I’ve tried numerous optimization methods and plugins—including WP Rocket—but no matter how I configure them, Amelia’s booking module consistently stops loading whenever these optimizations are active. The only way to restore functionality to the booking module is by deactivating the plugin or WP Rocket entirely, which then leaves my site running poorly. I’ve hired outside experts to troubleshoot this, but none have succeeded without breaking the booking page. Any help or guidance you can provide in resolving this conflict would be greatly appreciated.
The slow load can be caused by a lot of things - the number of appointments you have, the number of customers, the number of employees, etc.
As for the speed of Amelia itself, we cannot influence it because Amelia is not SaaS and the speed of your site and Amelia depends on the package you have with your hosting provider.
This is related to your package with your hosting provider because each page opens and loads for a very long time. Neither of these two issues is related to Amelia.
It could be caused by the amount of other data you have on the page.
You try and increase the php_memory_limit on your site.
If you're not sure how to do that, you can reach out to your hosting provider.
Please check out our demo sites (link) and see how the plugin should behave on a site with dedicated hosting and good server performance.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
I do not mean the load speed of Amelia, I am talking about my site. Any plugin I use to fix the site speed it breaks Amelia and no longer shows the module whenever I try to activate the optimized settings.
There is a plugin called "WP Plugin Manager" that is used to disable certain plugins from specific pages. You can install it and disable that plugin from the page where the calendar did not load like this for example
The Amelia should load fine after that, please check it out from your end and let us know if this has helped.
