    Dear Support Team,

I am experiencing a critical issue with the Amelia plugin on my website. The events that were previously available in the backend have suddenly disappeared. I have already checked the date range settings, and they are correctly set to include the expected events.

Additionally, I am unable to edit the Event Form 2.0, and any changes made in the backend do not reflect on the website. Furthermore, I am currently unable to create new events. When I click the button to create a new event, I receive the following error in the browser console (via F12):

    • POST 403 (Forbidden)
    • Uncaught TypeError: Cannot use 'in' operator to search for 'message' in undefined

Interestingly, the events are still visible on the frontend of the website. Even when attempting to modify the custom information, in the backend, the events continue to display as expected.

Could you please investigate this issue and provide guidance on how to resolve it? This is a critical function for our website, and we need an urgent solution.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

This most likely is the issue with conflict of roles.

Can you please check in WordPress users if you have several roles added to this user? For example admin and employee or employee and customer. etc. Or if this user has the same mail as other user for example admin/manager and employee or employee and customer. etc.

If this is the case then you should know you can not be Admin and manager to admin and employee, etc at the same time since this leads to conflict within the plugin. You need to have only one role per user only admin or only manager or only employee. Every role has different permission and if you combine them Amelia can not function properly.

You need to disconnect other roles from that user and that mail and to create a separate user with separate mail for each role and make sure to purge the cache afterward.

After that Amelia should work properly again. Please do that and let us know how it goes.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Kind Regards,

Thank you Marko for your response and assistance. The issue is now resolved!

I simply deleted the user that had the overlapping admin email, and everything started working immediately. I didn’t even need to clear the cache.

    I appreciate your help!
