We are using Amelia/Google Meet & WooCommerce integration. When a client cancels an appointment, the status of the appointment changes on their dashboard and the admin dashboard.
It appears Amelia does not remove the event from Google Calendar and does not issue a refund to the client.
Is this true? If so, is there a known workaround to automate this?
When you refund in Woo, it will automatically cancel the appointment in Amelia, but again the appointment remains on the calendar with a live Google Meeting link.
Currently, there is no built-in option in Amelia to automatically remove the event from Google Calendar or issue a refund when an appointment is canceled. When a refund is processed in WooCommerce, it does cancel the appointment in Amelia, but the event still remains in Google Calendar with the live Google Meeting link.
You may need to manually remove the event from Google Calendar after the cancellation or look into a custom solution for automating this.
