I’m having an issue with the date filter in WPDataTables. Currently, the calendar in the date filter starts on Sunday, but I need it to start on Monday.
I have already checked the WordPress settings, and the first day of the week is correctly set to Monday. I also tried modifying the plugin settings, but I can’t get the date filter calendar to respect this configuration.
Could you please advise on how to make the date filter calendar start on Monday?
Hello, My apologies, I did not realise this right away, but now it's clear what you wish to achieve.
I am not sure if this will be possible, because we use a 3rd Party Library to load this Date Picker.
We will check with our developers if there is any workaround to change the 'first available day' of the Date Picker from Sunday to Monday, as you requested.
As soon as they reply, we will advise you on this.
Save the change, and one more step, please go into the Main Plugin settings/Custom JS and CSS and make sure to deactivate 'Use minified wpDataTables Javascript'.
Then it should start the Date Picker from Monday. This is the only way at the moment.
Let me know how it goes.
Please note, that whenever you update our Plugin, this code edit will revert/reset, so you would need to repeat the code edit step again.
If you wish to see a built-in option for this in the future :
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
I would like to change the start date of my datarange filter on Monday instead of sunday.
Is it possible??
The new website is https://hockeyteams.rcpolo.com/calendario

Hello,
Our developers shared a custom workaround which you can do, to edit the code of our Plugin.
Find this file via FTP on your WP Hosting server in the path :
../wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/assets/js/wpdatatables/wdt.funcs.js
around line ~6 you can add this:
moment.localeData()._week.dow = 1;
Save the change, and one more step, please go into the Main Plugin settings/Custom JS and CSS and make sure to deactivate 'Use minified wpDataTables Javascript'.

Then it should start the Date Picker from Monday. This is the only way at the moment.
Let me know how it goes.

We made the changes you suggested, but the start date of the week is still Sunday...
The issue now is that the calendar doesn't even appear to select dates. You can only enter them manually.
