I’m following up on my refund request for Amelia (Order #22F32-0856C-73AFC-D06B4-74DAE), which I originally submitted on 27th. I haven’t received a response yet and want to confirm that my request is being processed within the 15-day refund policy period.

Prior to installing the plugin, I started researching potential setup issues and found that a common way to resolve installation problems is by reaching out to support. However, I also came across community feedback highlighting extended response times, which is not acceptable in my case, as line of work and my ticket values are substantial part of my business.

Since we only have 15 days for a refund, I’d rather not risk waiting on lengthy troubleshooting. If the plugin cannot be fully installed and configured to my needs within a reasonable timeframe, I’d prefer to proceed with the refund and continue using my existing platform instead.

You should also have my initial email from 28th, which details the reasons for my refund request. I understand that providing support in such a short time might be a unusual standard, but I’d really appreciate any clarity on this matter—whether it’s resolving the installation issues or processing the refund.

Please confirm the status of my request at your earliest convenience. Looking forward to your response.

I appreciate your response and your willingness to assist. I’m not sure if you’ve had the chance to review my initial email, but there are some reasons why Amelia turning out not the right fit for me, at the moment.

The main issue is the extensive setup required, which is significantly more complex compared to my current platform. The only reason I was considering Amelia was to have a booking system directly integrated into my website and potentially boost my Google reviews. However, after further research, I realized that setting it up with Google is far more complicated than expected.

It requires a Google Cloud account, which adds extra expenses that I hadn’t accounted for.

Setting up email notifications requires an additional plugin.

Ensuring that all booking tasks are handled correctly requires yet another plugin, and each of these comes with its own setup process.

None of these additional requirements were clearly outlined in the advertisements when purchasing the plugin.

I was under the impression that I was buying a fully functional plugin that I could install on my WordPress site and use with minimal setup—similar to my current platform, but with added benefits. Instead, the installation itself turned out to be the biggest drawback.

I’m also not very tech-savvy, and I simply don’t have the time for such a non art realted learning curve. While I’m open to granting admin access, I’m not sure how much it would help, as I would still need to purchase a Google Cloud subscription and possibly additional plugins, which I wasn’t accaunted for.

Would you prefer to proceed with sorting UK GDPR-compliant consent to take admin access and set everything up for me, or would it be easier to process the refund so we can part ways? At this point, I’ve spent three more hours reading through the documentation, and unfortunately, I don’t think I can install it properly myself.

Additionally, some instructional videos on YT you guys provided so nicely unfortunately are outdated due to Google’s frequent policy changes, making the process even more complicated. It almost turns out to be more hassle than benefit in my case.

That said, I still think Amelia is a fantastic concept if it works — it’s just not the right solution for me at this time. Let me know how you'd like to proceed.

On the matter though, I do confirm that in following case I would indeed be happy to receive refund, as soon as your or your team can proceed with it and whitin period which hold it possible under 15 day refund policy we spoke of.
