I love WpDataTables and your support has been excellent. Now I want to take it to another level via Master-Detail. And regardless of your answer here, I intend to buy it this week. This is NOT a bug in WpDataTables and therefore you are under no obligation to answer my question.
My question relates to the variety of data I need to capture and quantify in my database for resources for homeless people. Using the BMW seller example in the Master/Detail docs, imagine that the dealer sold cars, trucks and trailers. They all need to be in his inventory table and all need to have child tables that describe their attributes. But here is where the problem begins. Cars, trucks and trailers share some attributes but definitely have some different attributes (fields).
WpDataTables doesn't support different record types. That would be pretty complex. One solution might be to add every field needed for both cars and trucks and leave those columns/fields blank where they don't apply. I know you have a "collapse on Mobile" option. Is it possible that you have a "collapse on null" option in the child table or detail pop-up?
Again, you are under no obligation to answer this question. But I thought I ought to ask in case you have some suggestions that would make my project better or more efficient.
