    Dear Amelia Support Team,

I am currently setting up an integration between Amelia and Monday.com to track appointment cancellations. However, I need to identify whether a cancellation was made by the customer, employee, or admin.

Could you please confirm if there is a way to access this information via Amelia's API or webhooks? Specifically, I am looking for a value (e.g., modifiedBy or similar) that indicates who initiated the cancellation.

If this data is not currently available, is there any workaround or planned feature update to include this information in API/webhook responses?

Thank you for your time and support! I look forward to your response.

    Best regards,

    Hello Mert,

Thank you for reaching out. Regarding your question about identifying who initiated the cancellation via the API or webhooks, the current API setup does not include a specific field like "modifiedBy" that directly indicates whether the cancellation was made by the customer, employee, or admin.

However, Amelia API Endpoints allow developers to access various data and functionalities, and you can use them to track cancellations, though you might need to implement a custom solution to log or identify the cancellation initiator.

For your integration with Monday.com, I recommend checking the relevant endpoints for appointment updates, cancellations, or changes. You may need to combine this with other data from your system to infer the origin of the cancellation (e.g., by tracking changes made by the admin, employee, or customer in your backend).

Additionally, if this is a feature you'd like to see in the future, I suggest keeping an eye on Amelia’s planned feature updates, as new functionalities are periodically added.

Here’s a brief overview of how the API works:

    • Amelia API Endpoints are available for Elite license plans only and require API key authorization.
    • API requests use paths like {{your_site_URL}}/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wpamelia_api&call=/api/v1 and require the Amelia API key.
    • You can find more details about using API Endpoints, including examples for payments, appointments, and bookings, in the Postman collection provided in the Amelia settings.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or need more guidance.

    Kind Regards,
