We have many locations and never need or allow the choosing of an employee (not needed with our services). For some strange reason over the last 1-2 months, we have customers booking at one locations (eg. "Pretoria, Garsfontein...) and after payment the system books them in at a different location to what they selected (eg. Johannesburg, Fourways....). I cannot find out why this is happening but is happening many times now (never had this issue before) - what could be wrong? (the above example is exactly what happened twice with that specific site and we have had it with other sites too)
At first I thought that maybe somehow there is an employee field popping up, but I checked and you can see as well, there is NO EMPLOYEE FIELD, so this is NOT the issue.
This is a work around for when a customer choses to take a package instead of a single service.
In short, you have to make the location field mandatory for the packages (choosing a location on the first service tab does not count when the customers switches/is upsold to a package)
Please try fix this bug - i think it would be more efficient if Amelia kept the initial location selection on the 1st tab
Thanks for reaching out to us and for the video. Well, there is a difference between the "default" location that customers can choose when booking a service and the location that can be selected within the package selection. First of all, the package option is shown as an option (as a popup), whenever a customer clicks on the service which is a part of the package, however, the location shown in the package selection window refers to the location of the employees who are assigned to those services. You can choose which employees are going to be assigned to specific packages.
Basically, if those employees have different locations configured, then Amelia will show the option to customers to choose the location as a filter, in order to narrow down the options.
Choosing the location at the step by step booking form doesn't mean that the same location will be selected for the package appointments, as this option needs to be selected additionally, either through the step where the customers are going to select the appointments or later, through the customer panel.
If Amelia is assigning a different location when the default location is selected, then i doubt that this is related to the packages option.
I now have many sites using our services and EVERY time a new customer comes, the 1st thing the need to know is WHERE are you ("I am not going to book for a service in another city or anywhere else"; "I need to know if you are even in my area" ) - hence they do not even go to next steps and we loose customers.
Not sure how you use your plugin for other applications as it seems logical to me for a client to first see where you are before trying to book for anything

please see attached.
Perhaps it is related to the wp users that are created with each new employee

I HAVE FOUND A BUG AND A WORK AROUND :): How you MUST make your settings and why (click to watch video).

Hi Robert,
