We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
We have some events that are fully booked and people registered on the waiting list. For some of these events we can open extra spot. When we open these extra spots in the backend, the event stays fully booked. (10/12 full)
Is there a way we can add these extra spots and notify the people on the waiting list to register?
If they are not available anymore, can we open the spots to the public?
Thank you.
Hi Astrid,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Basically, custom/regular pricing adjustments are not permitted for events with confirmed attendees, however, you can still change the number of allowed spots. However, this should open new spots for the "regular" booking, not the waiting list.
For example, i have an event that is full with the waiting list option enabled
Since it's full, the waiting list is enabled
However, if i change the number of spots, those spots are available for booking
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan,
Thank you for your reply.
When there are subscribers on the waiting list the slots do not open. Do we need to disable the waiting list and send these people an individual mail? The risk is that other people will subscribe if the spots are opened.
It would be helpful that the people on the waiting list will get an automatic e-mail when spots open and they can subscribe prior to other subscribers.
Thank you for your advice.
Hi Astrid,
The notification can be configured as soon as the waiting list is enabled. You will see this option
There is a notification template "Event Waiting list" that you can configure for this purpose
Kind Regards,
