Thank you for your detailed explanation, and I understand the workflow you're aiming for. Let me walk you through each point:
Since there is no option for automatic refunds to be processed in Amelia, when a class is canceled, you would need to manually process the refund through Amelia finances page. Unfortunately, Amelia doesn't send an email notification for refunds specifically, so you’ll have to send this manually to the customer after processing the refund.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thank you so much for explaining how the returns work. Yes if you could take a look for me and also figure out what the invoices aren't sending like they should (i.e. when a purchase has been made) that would be amazing. I'm happy to create temp account for you but what username and email should I use when creating this? These fields are required as an email will be sent
The issue is with the "WP Mail" mail service in combination with Amelia's invoices, we will have this resolved as soon as possible.
Please check if you can see the booking form on page when you are not logged in WordPress or when you are looking form the incognito mode?
If this is the case then this can be 1 of 3 issues but most likely is the issue with some page optimizer.
1. The reason why the form is not visible for non-logged-in users is not in Amelia, but instead in your security settings. They're either configured in a Security plugin (if you have any), or they're on your server's side.
The best option would be to reach out to your hosting provider, send them the link of the booking page and tell them exactly what you told us - you can see the page when you're logged in as an admin, but you can't see it from an incognito window (or when you're logged out). They should be able to lift the block, so admin-ajax calls are sent for non-logged-in users also.
2. You have some page optimizers so turned them off and purge the cache and see if you can see the booking form then
3. The new booking form should be displayed when you clear the cache, if you have a caching plugin or optimize plugin, please disable the minify js files option.
For example, if you have WP Rocket, and you have enabled these JS optimizations, which have a negative effect on our New Step Form, which is based on Vue 3 Framework, the booking form won't show.
The old Form is based on Vue Framework 2, but the New Form is based on Vue Framework 3;
Once you disable the "minify JS" option in the Optimisations on WP Rocket, or similar, and purge the cache the form should appear.
Also, the issue could be with the Page Optimize plugin. You have these settings
and they should be added to this first input amelia_booking_script_index like this
There is no ETA on when it will be resolved, but I hope that it will be as soon as possible.
In regards to your second question, just change the time format on the WordPress General Settings and it will be applied in Amelia as well. Please take a look at our documentation page to read more about how to change date & time formats - Configuring WordPress Date/Time Settings in the Amelia WordPress Booking Plugin.
When your client makes a reservation and completes the booking process by paying for the service, they should have the option to access the Customer Panel afterward to manage their reservation details. However, to access the Customer Panel, they need to have a login and password set up.
Typically, after completing the booking process, there should be an option for the customer to create a password for the Customer Panel. This option is usually presented to them once the booking is finalized. If your client didn't set up a password after completing the booking process, that might be why they're encountering difficulties when trying to access the panel.
The solution in this scenario is relatively simple. Your client can still access the Customer Panel by utilizing the "forgot password" feature. This feature should be available on the login page of the Customer Panel. By clicking on "forgot password," your client will be prompted to enter their email address. After doing so, they should receive an email with instructions on how to reset their password.
Once they've reset their password, they should be able to log in to the Customer Panel using their email address and the newly created password. From there, they'll have access to manage their reservation details as needed.
So, to sum up, your client has two options:
If they haven't created a password after completing the booking process, they can click on the "forgot password" button on the Customer Panel login page to create a new password.
If they have created a password after completing the booking process, they can simply use that password to log in to the Customer Panel.
Ensuring that your client is aware of these options should help them navigate the Customer Panel more easily and manage their reservations effectively. If you need further assistance with configuring the settings, feel free to provide more details, and I'd be happy to help!
