We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello Amelia team,

I have a few related questions, so I figured it would be okay to ask them in one ticket:

    1. Does Amelia integrate with any point-of-sale (POS) systems?
    2. If a client has paid a deposit, what’s the best way to process the remaining payment in person without complicating transaction records?
    3. Is there an efficient way to mark no-shows in the system?
    4. How does Amelia accommodate walk-in appointments?

I’d appreciate any insights you can provide. Thank you!

    Hi James,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please find the answers to your questions below:

    1. Does Amelia integrate with any point-of-sale (POS) systems?
Unfortunately, not at the moment. Currently, no native POS integration is available in Amelia.

    2. If a client has paid a deposit, what’s the best way to process the remaining payment in person without complicating transaction records?
When customers arrive onsite for their appointment, they can pay the remaining balance in cash. This is clearly communicated to customers when they pay a deposit for an appointment.

    3. Is there an efficient way to mark no-shows in the system?
Yes, Amelia can automatically tag no-shows if this option is enabled. Customers who miss appointments will have a color-coded tag in their profile and in the Appointments section:

    • Gray tag: Missed one appointment.
    • Yellow tag: Missed two appointments.
    • Red tag: Missed three or more appointments.

These tags are applied automatically when the no-show tracking feature is activated.

    4. How does Amelia accommodate walk-in appointments?
    For walk-in appointments:

    • Customers can pay using the "On Site" payment method when they arrive. This method applies to any appointments not paid online.
    • If no appointments are booked in advance, an admin can manually book them through the backend by selecting the customer, date, time, and other necessary details.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind Regards,

    Stefan Petrov
