I’m currently experiencing an issue with the Amelia widgets when used inside an Elementor popup. The widgets keep loading indefinitely, and the calendar or event calendar never appears.
Here are the details:
• Issue: Both the step-by-step booking form and the events widget fail to load properly in the popup. Instead, they remain stuck in the loading state.
• Test: When I place the same widget on a regular page (outside of a popup), it works perfectly. However, in the popup, the issue persists.
• Attempts: I have tried various settings and configurations, but the behavior remains unchanged.
Are there any specific settings, scripts, or adjustments I need to apply to ensure the widgets load correctly in an Elementor popup?
Thank you in advance for your assistance. I’m happy to provide additional details if needed and look forward to your response.
Thank you for reaching out to us. Could you let me know if you created the popup using the default builder or a third-party builder? While the popup should work with any builder, there might be a conflict with the one you’re using.
Here’s the link to the popup configuration instructions - link. Please ensure the popup is configured according to these guidelines. If it still doesn’t work, feel free to share the WordPress admin credentials so I can log in and take a closer look.
Thank you for your response. I created a short video demonstrating the issue, which might help clarify the problem. Here is the link to the video: [Insert Video Link].

Thanks for the access. Basically, the booking form is loading properly, but i think that the issue here is related to the caching. I've created a new page and added the popup (the same way as you added on your test page), and the popup does load the booking form properly.
So, you can try clearing the browser cache / cookies. Also, the other booking form is loading properly, i does work properly on my side.
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to look into this. I really appreciate it! I saw that you created a test page, and it’s great to know that the booking form works properly when added directly to a page.
However, the issue doesn’t occur when the calendar is embedded directly on a page. My goal is to integrate the calendar into an Elementor popup. Unfortunately, this approach doesn’t seem to work. I’m not using the Gutenberg editor but rather Elementor, and I’d like to add a button that triggers a Elementor popup where the Amelia calendar is displayed.
I hope this explanation clarifies the problem a bit more, and I’m confident we can find a solution together.
You can add any shortcode you’d like in the popup option, as long as the configuration is correct. Based on my test, the booking form loads properly. However, if you’d prefer to use a specific shortcode, you’re welcome to do so as well.
The popup is compatible with any builder, particularly Elementor. You can also use my example and simply replace the shortcode (though I’m not sure if I’ve already deleted it).
Thank you for your input! I’ve tried adding it to the Elementor popup again. First, I used the widget with the settings you had on the test page. Since the widget didn’t work, I added it as a shortcode directly into the popup.
Unfortunately, I still don’t see the popup displayed. I’ve attached two screenshots to show you the settings I used and what is being displayed.
It’s still not working on my end, even after clearing the cache.
Try opening a new page in incognito mode, it looks like you want to preview the popup when you are already logged in. Of course, make sure that the cache is cleared (browser cookies / cache)
