hi could you help me with the employee panel please. I have 4 employees. Everyone can manage their own individual appointments - perfect.
Now I need one out of 4 employees to be like 'admin' and be able to manage everyone's appointments. How do I set this up? I have read already that one user cannot have multiple roles. So I think I need to change one employee to admin - how can I do this?
Unfortunately, there is no such option, as it would create a conflict. Each WP user has a set of permissions, and assigning multiple user roles to one WP user would cause a conflict, where an employee could have the option to book appointments like an admin.
You can change the user role to admin, but please note that this admin would not be able to log in to the employee panel. They would need to manage appointments from the WP backend.
oh I see... then is there a way to have an employee access other employee appointments via employee panel? because my salon has one manager who needs to have access to everybody's appointment. but I cannot give them access to wp backend dashboard. thank you
Only WP users with the employee user role can access the employee panel, and each employee has their own credentials. If those credentials are shared, others may gain access, but this is not recommended.
While it may not be the ideal solution, no other WP users can log in to the employee panel. This panel is specifically dedicated to employees, similar to how the Customer Panel is dedicated to customers.
I do think however that a 'manager' level employee is common and would be great if you could consider allowing a user to access to all employee appointments in the employee panel in future updates. because the employee panel ui is so much more friendly and attractive than wordpress backend
That’s noted, but it’s not just up to us (Amelia); it also depends on the WordPress integration. We will definitely work on improving this in future updates.

No problem, you’re welcome.
