I have set up your very nice system, and it works almost perfectly. But sometimes capacity works and other times it doesn´t really work. As you can see in attachments, I have set it up to be open 7-24.00 and have minimum 1 and maximum 12 bookings per hour. And in the calendar you can see that sometimes it does accept more bookings - but in the booking form the slots from 10-11 and 11-12 are not existing. Funny detail is that Anne that booked the workshop today booked from 10-13.00 but 12-13.00 IS open... I hope you can help me - I loose money when the workshop isn´t bookable.
I think I found a solution by removing the "Take a friend" possibility. BUT many of my customers actually do bring 1-4 friends and want to book for them and now they have two buy it and put in their email and name for every booking.
Isn´t there a a way for it to work so I can set 12 slots per hour and customers can book these 12 slots both alone or in groups?
Thanks for reaching out to us and apologies for the delayed answer. Let me explain how this should work. I would first start from the timezone configuration. Instead of UTC, it should be configured to the nearest city in your timezone.
This can cause discrepancies in the timeslots shown on the booking form.
To configure the possibility of booking 12 slots per hour ( booking of the same timeslot multiple times), you would first need to configure the maximum capacity to more than 1 (for example 12), and you also need to enable the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" in Appointment settings. This will allow your customers to book the same timeslot multiple time until the maximum capacity is reached.
Please, let me know if this is what you are looking for or if i can help you with anything else.
I think that what you suggest is what I did yesterday. The problem is, that the user will have to buy the slot and pay and everything and then book for one more and again for one more. So I really hope that there is a possibility like the "bring a friend" function where all 12 seats can be sold to either groups or separate people. But as I can figure out this is not possible?
Yes, this option is already integrated in Amelia. In service settings, once you configure the maximum capacity to more than 1, you will see these options
"Bringing anyone with you" will ask the customers if they want to bring anyone with them during booking.
Yes it seems like it's working now. But it's the same setting as I had before, where the slots again and again was blocked randomly - so I have to see the next days to see if it works now. Thanks for now
If you look in the backend (see attached) you can see that only one person has booked from 17-19.00. That means that for some reason the calendar has blocked 18-19.00 after one booking. But NOT 17-18.00...
I have also attached the pictures showing that I have set a special day in the backend - where the timeslots should be open from 12-00 today.
Thanks for the access and apologies for the delayed answer. I was looking for the root cause, but the initial configuration is correct, only to find out that your timezone configuration is not properly configured. Instead of UTC it should be configured to the nearest city in your timezone
This would explain the difference in timeslots you can see on the booking form. Please, double check and let me know if it works.
If we review the configuration, as long as multiple employees are assigned or the setting allowing booking of the same timeslot is enabled, the timeslot shouldn't disappear. However, if only one employee is assigned to a specific service, the timeslot will disappear after a booking is made, as there are no other employees available for that timeslot. Similarly, if the maximum capacity is set to 1, the timeslot will also disappear.
that really doesn’t make sense to me. You example in the videos is always a yoga class. At a yoga class you have one teacher and 10 students. So surely the time slot should not stop after one booking.

Actually the problem came today (before I add the "bring a friend" function again.
If you go to our booking site and choose today: https://www.begejstring.dk/wp-booking-calendar/ you will see that the slot from 18-19.00 isn't available.

I have changed. But that surely can’t solve the problem that the slots are removed when one customer has booked.
