We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
we have been using your plugin Amelia for a few years now. At the end of last year, our website, on which your plugin is used, was hacked. We have now repaired the site.
However, the malware scan says that a file from your plugin is still affected.
The following text appears in the scan:
FINDE: 20x
##########################################
/kunden/308631_16515/rp-hosting/D10428/W-047/wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/vendor/phpmetrics/phpmetrics/src/functions.php
#########################################
Changed -> 07/30/2024 7:11:34 AM +0000
Line -> Search pattern -> FUND (Max. 300 characters, shortened, escaped..., maximum displayed: 20)
151 -> recurse_copy($.* . '/' ... -> recurse_copy($src.'/'.$file,$dst.'/'.$file);
We have now updated it after Christmas. Is there still a risk that it contains malware?
As we do not currently need the plugin, I would also deactivate it and hope that all previous data is retained for the time being. Is that the case?
Best regards,
Kathleen Walther

Hello Kathleen,
Thank you for reaching out to us! We’ve reviewed the latest update and confirmed it has been checked for any malware or conflicts. If the malware scan is flagging something, it might be a false positive.
Could you let us know if this is affecting Amelia's functionality in any way? Are you noticing any errors or issues in the WordPress backend?
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hello,
thank you very much for the answer.
So far we have not found any limitations or problems when using the plugin. It works as it should.
Best regards,
Kathleen Walther
Hello René,
Thanks for the feedback, that is great news, indeed. In that case, can I close this one if there are no other questions?
