We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Support Needed: Issue with Multilingual Notifications in Amelia (English and French)

    Dear Amelia Support Team,

I need your assistance with an issue regarding notifications in Amelia.

    Details:

    • The default language of my website and in TranslatePress is German.
    • Additionally, the website is offered in English and French.
    • I have translated and configured the notifications directly in the Amelia settings for both languages.

The Problem: Despite being properly set up, notifications are only sent in the default language, German. The user's selected language (English or French) is not reflected in the notifications.

    Steps Taken:

    1. I have fully translated the notifications in Amelia for all languages.
    2. TranslatePress is configured correctly, and the language switch works on the website.
    3. I have watched your troubleshooting video and followed the steps, but the issue persists.

    Questions:

    1. How can I ensure that notifications are sent in the language selected by the user (English or French)?
    2. Are there additional configurations or settings required to ensure Amelia supports multilingual notifications correctly?
    3. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong? Amelia works perfectly otherwise.

Thank you in advance for your assistance. Please let me know if you need any additional information or access to the website.

    Best regards,

    Sarah Scarnato

    Hello Sarah,

I hope you are doing well. According to the instructions provided, it looks like the configuration is correct, however, the fact that the "page locale" is not configured for each page might be an issue here. Amelia uses "page locale" parameter to recognize the notification language for each page and according to this, the language is sent to the customers. To check this, you can open the developer console on each page and enter this in the console window

It should be configured to each page language (English, French) and etc.

    Kind Regards,
