I have an employee who is on "event" and available for services. If no services are scheduled, does the event remain available? And if at least one person books a service, does the event automatically block/close? Similarly, if someone books a ticket for an EVENT, does it automatically block all availability for services?
In the case of hairdressing business or any beauty business, we organize training sessions (lasting from 1 to 7 days) with certain employees. This employee can either be in a training session or performing a service.
Unfortunately, it is currently impossible to have services that last more than 24 hours (i hope it will be in then next update). Therefore, we wanted to use events for "training sessions" and appointments for hairdressing services. However, I don't feel like the software "blocks" the service or the event when the employee is booked for one of the two.
Event override services. So if employee is added to a event in that period of time services for this employee are unavailable for booking. As for 24 hours limit this will not be available any time soon since it would requires changing complete lloginc of Amelia and this is equivalent of creating a new plugin for hotel booking or similar so this is not available in Amelia Im afraid.
