    I would like to have an end-user form which allows the end-user to add a record to an existing database which would include a document to upload and the form (or DB backend) must create the link which will display when table is displayed.  Specifically, I have an "Upcoming Events" page for which users add information about their event and an event flyer (usually PDF). After the entry is finished, the new record is visable to all users who visit the Upcoming Events page and the visiting user will see a link to the event flyer.

    Hi Alfred,

    My sincerest apology, we had some big issues with this ticketing system, some tickets got marked as 'replied' when they did not get a reply and we did not see it.

    It seems it is resolved now, but if any long waiting time reoccurs, please don't hesitate to contact me on my work Email [email protected] and you can just send me the link to the ticket, so we can double-check it if needed.

    We will move to a better support system as soon as possible.
    Thank you for all your patience.

    • In regards to this use case, I am not sure if we understand all the details/functionalities which should happen.

      - If you need a table, which will load on the front end, and to allow users to edit this table, in order to add a new row;
      1. And in this new row, there are multiple columns, I presume they will be able to add a Text (String) column as their "Event description", right?
      For that field, you can use our "One line " or "Multi line" Editor type and use a "Multi Line String" field for larger text.

      2. And another 'upload' Column, which they can use, to upload a Document ( such as PDF).

      When you use our "attachment' Editor input type - That allows the user to upload their Document;
      And once it is uploaded, it will be presented in the table as the "download link", or for a PDF, it is displayed as the link to the uploaded PDF document.

      Please check more about our Editor input types here, to see more details on how our 'attachment'/upload editor works.

      - Now, I presume you want the users only to be able to add their own row, without editing existing (other people's) rows?

      - For this, you can, for example, only allow the "Add a new row" button, on the Editing buttons for this Table.
      This way, you can prevent users to edit existing rows, and they can only add their own/new rows.

      - Another way, if you want this to be an actual Form input :
      You can use one of our Form integrations :

    We have several built-in integrations with form plugins.

    These form integrations are :

    integration for Forminator Forms, ( a free add-on),

    Formidable Forms integration;
    and  Gravity Forms integration.

    That way, you can have the Form shortcode, for example above the Table, or on another Page, as you like.

    Then, the user can enter their submission into the Form and upload their Document.

    And, you can make a new table, connected to this source Form, to display all the text and the 'upload' column will display the link to that uploaded Document.

    - If you need the table to be editable, you can use the Gravity Form integration.

    On each of the hyperlinks above, you can see their respective Documentation, and you can test each Form add-on, we added the Demo Page link on each Documentation Page.

    - Let me know if that will achieve the desired use case, or you wanted something else.

    Once again, my apologies for such an extremely late reply.

    Kind Regards,

    Miloš Jovanović
