    Hi,

    In Quebec, people speak French. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to add the translations for fr-CA, not only fr-FR. It's 99% the same so you could simply copy paste the fr-FR into fr-CA to start.

    Also, there are many missing translations for fr-FR. Would it be possible to add the missing translations, even with Google translate?

    At least for what customers can see?

    I know I can translate it with the po, but it would be more efficient to do it at the source. Otherwise I will have to check if there are missing translations at each update.

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Please note that we do not have translators in our company, so all translated languages Amelia has have been translated by our customers. If you find any inconsistencies with the translation, please feel free to correct them using POEdit open a ticket and send us the corrected translation, so we can add it to the plugin.

    Words can be changed using POEDIT for example very easily. 

    If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:

    1. Download the Amelia plugin from CodeCanyon and save the .zip file on your computer.

    2. Unzip the downloaded .zip file.

    3. You need to download and install POEDIT. 

    4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.

    5. Translate all the strings that are not translated

    6. Save the translation.

    7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.

    You are using fr_CA (Amelia does not have this language we only have fr_FR, not fr_CA unfortunately.

    You need to either set French (France) or copy the "fr_FR" folder to wp-content / plugins / ameliabooking / languages / and paste it there again.

    Then rename the copy to "fr_CA" and then go to that folder and rename the files from wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo to wpamelia-fr_CA.po and wpamelia-fr_CA.mo

    This will, unfortunately, be deleted with the update, so you can leave French (France) and then everything will work.
