Thank you for the update! I’m happy to share that most of the issues I was experiencing have been resolved with this latest update—great work, and I appreciate your efforts.
However, I’m currently facing challenges around handling 'extra' services purchased alongside regular services. Specifically:
There’s no notification system to indicate that an extra service has been added, which makes it difficult to identify these bookings.
The details of the extra service are not easily visible in the appointment details, nor are they transferred into the calendar event.
This is a significant issue for my workflow because the extra service I’m trying to implement requires a third-party staff member to be present at the appointment. Without clear notifications, it’s hard to ensure that the necessary coordination takes place.
Ideally, I’d like a system where:
A notification is triggered whenever an extra service is booked.
The extra service is clearly reflected in the calendar event.
The third-party staff member can be notified and, if possible, automatically booked on their own calendar.
I’ve tried to set this up using tools like Integrately and AutomatorWP, but unfortunately, neither system seems to have a trigger for when an extra service is booked with a regular appointment. Could you consider adding this functionality? Alternatively, providing a custom webhook meta key or similar solution to call that function would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you for considering this request. It would make a big difference in streamlining our process and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Wishing you a Happy New Year, and I appreciate your continued support!
Notifications are triggered for appointment status approved, pending, canceled extras option I just additional option for appointment so it can not be created as notification I'm afraid.
The only option that exists at this time is extras placeholder that you can add in notifications that is it. I would ussually say that you leave a suggestion but what you want is not possible to set and it is a quite unique use case so this will not be implemented in Amelia in the future to be honest.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
