Hi I submitted a features request, https://features.wpamelia.com/3342, and wanted to know if this is something that is available perhaps on Square payments already or if this is being worked on with Stripe. As you can see with the upvotes, its a popular and important feature missing. It is just an API call that needs to be added according to Stripe dev docs.
No, this is not implemented yet, and we can not say if this will be implemented to not in the future. If you check the complete list this request actually have quite low number of votes and we have several dozens of features that has much higher number of votes from 3 times do 12 times more votes so they have higher priority. We have created this so that we can follow the and check the users wishes but this is based on a majority of votes.
