We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Question About Displaying Specific Rows in a Google Spreadsheet-Linked Datatable
Hi Support Team,
I have a question regarding creating a datatable linked to a Google Spreadsheet.
I successfully created the datatable and linked it to the Google Spreadsheet, which works perfectly. All the data appears correctly in the table on my website (URL: see above).
My question is: How can I display on my website only the specific row from the datatable that corresponds to the email address of the logged-in user?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards, Peter
Hi Peter,
For this - you can use our dynamic placeholder
Please check more details on how our Placeholders work here.
For a table linked from a Google Sheet, I presume you have a column in your source Google Sheet, which stores all the values for each user Email, right?
Now, in the table back-end, you can add %CURRENT_USER_EMAIL% in column settings -> Filtering, under "Predefined filtering value". Here is a screenshot example. Just make sure this column's filter type is set as "Text".
If you don't wish to allow the front-end user to change or see the filter - you can hide this column from front-end and it will still pre-filter the table.
Here you can learn how to hide/show columns.
Let me know if that works for your use-case.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
