Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

Our developers isolated the bug/conflict between Elementor and our latest Plugin versions ( 7.0 and 7.0.1), and they made a fix for the dropdowns/navigation menu, basically anything which causes that browser developer console error which says : 'elementor is not defined'.

They will add the fix in our upcoming update - It is scheduled to be released very soon, in the next few days, but our QA Team is still conducting tests to ensure everything goes smoothly before we release it. You can certainly follow our changeLog.

It will be stated there during updates which bug fixes have been implemented at each update. 

We do have the first version of the fix now, our developers made it work on multiple Test websites, nad we have multiple users report it works on theis Sites, so it should work for you as well.

If you wish to try this fix right now, here are the instructions.

Please find this JS file via FTP on your Hosting WordPress folder, the path is :

..wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/integrations/starter/page-builders/elementor/js/wdt-custom-elementor-js.js

Upload this edited JS file we attached to the ticket, and overwrite the old JS file.

Clear the cache of your Site, refresh the page(s) where the issue was and check, it should be fixed.

If you need us to do this for you, we will need access to the Site :

Please provide me the URL to the Site (one example Page that shows the error/issue) and a WP-admin (administrator) user for your website where this happens along with FTP Credentials, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. 

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties. 

You can write credentials here because this ticket is private and nobody can see them except us.

 Or, if you just wish to temporarily roll back the wpDataTables to the previous version 6.7.1 and wait for our official update with the fix - We will write a private message here for Sara and send the 6.7.1 installation here;

If anyone else needs an older version, please open a new private ticket and we can send it to you there.
