%variable% showing up on page/post when value empty

I am able to create views with clickable rows that open a page and pass on the item_id. All works well except for when the passed variable has no value. Then %variable_name% appears on the page / post rather than nothing which is what I would like. Is there a setting I am missing?

I'm experiencing the same issue, I see %origin_field% on my page template...

    have you found a solution?

    Hello guys,

My sincerest apology, there was an error on this ticket from my end - I wrote a reply, but it somehow did not get sent properly.

This will not happen again, thank you very much for your patience.

Our QA team was able to isolate this issue. It only happens when we use the "GET" method in the Master-Details for sending the data to a Template Page.

Then for any case when the row has an empty value for a cell - it renders the origin column header placeholder like %origin_field_name% instead of just being blank.

Our developers isolated the bug, and they'll add it to their queue for fixing.

They will do their best to build a fix as soon as possible.

We don't have an ETA on when the fix will be available, but please keep a lookout on our wpDataTables changeLog.

It will be stated there during updates which bug fixes have been implemented at each update. If they create a fix in between updates, I will make sure to send it to you.

For the time being, until this is resolved, you can only try switching from "GET" to "POST" in the Master-Detail settings to work around the bug.
    I hope it helps.

    Kind Regards,

    Miloš Jovanović
