Employee Selection on some services

Issue 1: Conditional Employee Dropdown for Specific Services I need to configure the employee dropdown on the booking page to behave differently for specific services:

    1. For services like Physiotherapy, where multiple employees are available, I want the client to select their preferred employee from a dropdown.
    2. For other services with only one assigned employee, the dropdown should not appear, and the system should automatically assign the employee.

Currently, the employee dropdown is either shown for all services or hidden for all services based on global settings, which doesn’t meet my requirements. How can I configure Amelia to show the dropdown only for certain services?

Issue 2: Different Pricing Based on Time of Day For certain services, like Teleconsultation, we need to charge a different price during specific hours (e.g., between 12 AM and 8 AM). Is there a way to configure Amelia to apply different prices based on the time of the appointment?

Issue 3: Open Calendar for Some Services Without Employee Selection For services like Caregiving, where we assign a caregiver based on the client’s preferences, I don’t want the employee selection dropdown to be visible. However, I would like the calendar to show all time slots as available, as we have multiple caregivers who can fulfill the appointment. How can I set this up without restricting availability unnecessarily?

Quick help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Issue 1: Conditional Employee Dropdown for Specific Services I need to configure the employee dropdown on the booking page to behave differently for specific services:

    1. For services like Physiotherapy, where multiple employees are available, I want the client to select their preferred employee from a dropdown.

Unfortunately, I’m sorry to say that configuring something like this isn’t currently possible. Amelia does not offer an option for conditional dropdowns at this time.

We recommend checking our Feature Suggestion page to see if this feature has already been proposed. If not, feel free to add your suggestion there—features with more votes are prioritized for future development.

This is also not possible, however, you can create different pricing based on the employee selection. You can check out this link for more information.

Issue 3: Open Calendar for Some Services Without Employee Selection For services like Caregiving, where we assign a caregiver based on the client’s preferences, I don’t want the employee selection dropdown to be visible. The employee selection field will always show all the employees available, there is no option to choose with service will show the employee selection or not. You can disable this option completely or leave it visible, but there is no option to choose which services are going to have this visible or not.

    I hope it helps.

    Hi

    Thank you for your response.

Are there any alternative approaches, such as using custom code, hooks, or external integrations, to address the following?

    1. Dynamically hiding/showing the employee dropdown based on the selected service.

    2. Configuring time-based pricing variations for specific services.

    3. Showing all time slots as available for certain services without displaying the employee selection field.

Any guidance on workarounds or custom solutions would be appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Omeir

    Hi Omeir,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you on this one—there isn’t an option for this feature at the moment. The employee selection field can only be toggled on or off, and implementing further functionality would require customization. Regrettably, we’re not offering customization services at this time.

That said, we encourage you to share your suggestion as a feature request on our page.

    Kind Regards,
