I have set up notifications to be sent using WhatsApp Business. I successfully tested sending messages via Facebook Developers, and the message was delivered to my number. However, when I use Amelia to send a test message under the WhatsApp notification section, the message is not delivered.
The template and variables are correct. The number ID, account ID, and token settings are also accurate. Please help me resolve this issue.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

I’ve found the source of the issue. WhatsApp Business has introduced an update, which includes a new type of variable in their message templates. This new variable allows users to assign custom names, unlike the previous version that used numbered variables.
Advantages
The advantage of named variables is that they make it easier for users to remember the purpose or function of each variable, making them more user-friendly and informative. On the other hand, numbered variables are harder to use since users must remember the correct order of all variables. I think this is a significant improvement from WhatsApp Business.
Disadvantages
The drawback is that many developers/plugins do not yet support this feature. As a result, named variables can cause errors and cannot be used in certain systems.
Example of a numbered variable: {{1}}
Example of a named variable: {{customer_first_name}}
As you can see from the screenshot I’ve marked, Amelia still uses the old numbered variable placeholder {{1}}.
Message sent
After I changed the message template to use numbered variables, the WhatsApp Business message was sent successfully.
Thank you for your feedback. It seems we weren’t aware of this update, but I’ll be sure to forward the instructions as needed. I’m glad to hear everything is working properly now. Of course, feel free to reach out to us regarding other questions or issues.
I am attaching the new variable settings in the WhatsApp Business message template in here. Thank you for your assistance. You can close this ticket. I will open a new ticket if there’s anything else to discuss.

Hello krisna,
Apologies, we dont work on weekends. Upon sending a test WhatsApp notification, there is this issue in dthe eveloper console.
This indicates that the parameter is missing or empty. You can find more about the WhatsApp issues on this link.

ok. Do you know where that parameter comes from? Is it from the WhatsApp Business message template or the Amelia plugin?
