The ‘cardiac holter’ service and the ‘pressure holter’ service are services that I can only provide once a day, as the patient then retains the equipment for 24 hours (monitoring). However, the service is only provided in 15 minutes (although it must then be blacked out until the next day).
The problems I am therefore experiencing are 2: - If I put that the service lasts 24 hours, the software does not give me availability (same thing with extra time before and after), in this case putting the service that lasts 6 hours correctly gives me only one daily time slot, but I do not know what time the customer will come (e.g. 8am-1pm) - In doing so, as in the point above, the employee is unavailable for 24 hours, which he is not because he was only busy for those 15 minutes.
Thanks for reaching out to us. I’m not sure if I understood your use case correctly, so let me summarize. You’re trying to configure a timeslot that lasts for the entire day, but you also want to make sure that this timeslot is available for booking by other customers (not just one), right?
The timeslot duration depends on both the service duration and the employee's work hours configuration. If the service duration is 24 hours, you also need to ensure that the employee's work hours are set to cover those 24 hours. Just to note, there is no option to configure a service duration longer than 24 hours.
The duration of the service is 24 hours (because the customer also keeps the appliance overnight), but the availability of the employee (to mount the appliance) is only relative to the working hours 8am-1pm and 4.30pm-8pm, the employee takes 15 minutes to mount the appliance.
Let me give an example: The software shows the availability 8am-1pm and 4.30pm-20pm with booking time slots of 15 minutes. the customer books for the time slot 9.30am-9.45am. the software should obscure the availability until the next booking, which can take place no earlier than 9.45am the next day (24 hours).
Thank you for your explanation. Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you as Amelia currently doesn’t support this functionality.
While you can configure timeslots, once a customer books an appointment, that specific timeslot will no longer be visible on the booking form. Instead, the next available timeslot will be displayed, which could be any time within the duration of the service you’ve set up.
One possible workaround might be to use the "Special Days" feature instead of standard working hours. You could configure each day in advance, setting a single specific timeslot for each day. For example, you could allow bookings only between 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM on Monday, then repeat this setup for Tuesday, and so on. This approach would create a 24-hour gap between available timeslots.
Doing it this way, however, precludes me from the rest of the day as availability.
Do you plan to implement the possibility of booking such services? That is, that a daily booking excludes any other possibility of booking for the remaining 24 hours
I see. We do have something similar and that is Minimum time required before booking or Period available to book in advance, but we haven't planned adding this so far. You can suggest this as a feature on our feature suggestion page.
Yes, but Trafft is our different product, Amelia and Trafft doesn't have the same features. There are also some differences between them. AmeliaWP is a WordPress-based booking plugin ideal for small to medium businesses that want seamless integration with their website, flexible scheduling, and WooCommerce compatibility. Trafft is a standalone booking platform suited for businesses that don't rely on WordPress, offering more scalability, branding, and a mobile app for management. If you need a WordPress-specific solution, Amelia is a better fit; for multi-franchise setups or platform independence, Trafft is the way to go.

Would you have a solution to share with me?

I noticed that you already have this function on Trafft (attach screen)
