I want to know whether it's possible to define a maximum cost for a booking.
I am building a booking website for a community pool. We charge GBP 5 per person per hour, but I'd like to define a maximum cost for a booking. In this case, when the number of people gets to 5, the cost is GBP 25 and I'd like the option to make this the maximum cost if more than 5 people are added to the booking.
Is there a hook that can used to define a maximum cost? If so, can you provide me the code I need to apply this maximum cost?
Thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, there is no such option at the moment. However, when you configure the maximum service capacity to more than 2, you'll see the option to enable "bringing someone with you." When this is enabled, you can multiply the pricing for additional people. This will adjust the price for each additional customer, but there is no option to set a specific limit.
Please feel free to check our feature suggestion page to see if someone has already suggested this feature. If you don't find it, feel free to add your suggestion there. As more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can also follow our changelog page, where we post updates on changes, new features, bug fixes, and more. Additionally, subscribing to our newsletter will keep you informed about new features, bug fixes, and free updates.
I'm not sure but it would have to double check with the developers. Let me consult them and I will get back to you as soon as possible with the answer.
I just wanted to provide you with an update. The developers will be reviewing this use case, and once they provide their feedback, I will be sure to get back to you with their response.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Apologies for the delayed response. Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. The price calculation is done on the server, and customizing the front-end prices won’t affect the actual calculations. Since this feature is used in several places within the plugin, making changes would require extensive customization, testing, and implementation. We do have "custom pricing per person" on our roadmap, but unfortunately, we cannot provide an ETA at this time.
In the meantime, you can follow our changelog where we list any updates, new features, and bug fixes, or subscribe to our newsletter for the latest information on new features, bug fixes, freebies, and more.

I am aware it's not a feature through the GUI, but is there an available hook that can be used to limit the cost?
