I use wp-amelia for clients internationally. I use the plug-in if-so for dynamic geo-location specific content.
I'd like the phone prefix (see attached) to change based on the location.
I was wondering, if there was an argument I could append to the url (or POST or something else?) that could select a different prefix based on if-so's geolocation plugin.
There is an option in Amelia called "Identify country code by user's IP address" under Amelia > Settings > General. This feature allows Amelia to automatically detect and set the country code based on the user's IP address, providing a more dynamic phone prefix without the need for custom solutions.
If this feature suits your needs, it can help streamline the process by automatically adjusting the phone prefix based on the user's location.
Let me know if you need further assistance or clarification!
Oh perfect! I see the in the changelog this was implemented a few months ago. Great to see the Wp-Amelia team is starting to support international use case scenarios like this.
We're still waiting for back-end time zone support (as per this feature request here), but all in the right time...
I'm glad I could assist you! It's great to hear that you're noticing improvements with international use cases. We're always working towards making Amelia more adaptable for different scenarios.
Regarding the back-end time zone support, I understand how important it is, and I can assure you that the team is aware of the feature request. We'll keep working on it to provide a more seamless experience.
If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out.
