I've installed the calendar correctly, and I've followed the steps provided by the guides. But, it seems I did not connect something properly. The problem is that I can't find out what I missed.
When you go to the page which is showing the calendar, you can't click any dates, nor do you see any time slots to select above the dates.
I've made a profile and set the time slots correctly, but I'm a little confused how to link this in an step-by-step calendar towards clients to make use of.
Could you help me with figuring out what went wrong?
One more question: Is it possible to mark a whole day or seperate time slots from an employee as not available?
I only see the option to 'book an appointment' yourself, but it doesn't cover the time slots etc. and I don't think this is the right way to do it. Is does work with Days Off, but only for marking a whole day instead of individual time slots.
To make a specific time slot unavailable in Amelia (for example, when a consult is booked outside the system), you can use the following workaround:
Create a Dummy Appointment or Busy Event
Using Google/Outlook Calendar Integration:
If you have integrated Google or Outlook Calendar with Amelia, simply create a "busy" event in your calendar during the desired time slot. Amelia will automatically mark that time as unavailable for booking.
Directly in Amelia:
Alternatively, you can create a dummy appointment directly in Amelia during the specific time slot for an internal customer or a placeholder. This will block the time and prevent others from booking during that slot.
Let me know if you need further clarification or help setting this up! 😊
To create a dummy appointment directly in Amelia, simply schedule a regular appointment for the employee you want to make unavailable. This will block their availability during that specific time, ensuring they are not bookable.
Last but not least, I've got a tiny question regarding spacing of the widget:
I noticed there is a gap/ space between the upper side of the widget which I can not seem to get smaller. See attachment please! Is there a way to manage the gap, so that I might make the gap smaller?
I've set up the availability of an employee, for example: she is available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.But what if she likes to be available on Monday on a specific day in February.
Is it possible to make an employee available for a specific day outside of the regular schedule?

Regarding method #2: Directly in Amelia: How do a make a dummy appointment to be exact? :P
Hello Geoffrey,
To create a dummy appointment directly in Amelia, simply schedule a regular appointment for the employee you want to make unavailable. This will block their availability during that specific time, ensuring they are not bookable.

Hello Geoffrey,
Thank you for the update on thus.
Please try the following CSS for this purpose:
#amelia-container{
margin-top: 0 !important;
}
Let me know if that works for you.

One last question:

Is it possible to make an employee available for a specific day outside of the regular schedule?
Hello Geoffrey,
For that purpose, you can set up a special day on the Amelia > Employees > Special Days page.
Please let me know if that works for you.

Ok, really my last question: I noticed the time of events of appointments is shown as 1.30PM instead of 13:30.
How can I change this?
Hello Geoffrey,
Just change the time format on the WordPress General Settings and it will be applied in Amelia as well. Please take a look at our documentation page to read more about how to change date & time formats - Configuring WordPress Date/Time Settings in the Amelia WordPress Booking Plugin.

Thanks, worked perfectly once again.
Regarding Events:
For example, if you have 3 events in your Calendar, 1 is a party and 2 are sound baths.
Is there also a way to only embed the party one, beneath the particular page about parties without showing the non relevant one (2 * sound baths?)
