I've just spend the last couple of week programming Amelia to get it to do what we need for our Wordpress/WooCommerce website.
It was working fine when I was placing orders while logged in.
I just placed an order from another google account on my computer and the order went through but sent the Customer Email "Appointment Approved" Notification to a completely different email address than the one I entered on the information and payment page for the booking. It used an email account that is used for one of the employees within the company, (one that I had synced their outlook calendar previously today in employee settings on my computer in a different google account than the one I placed the order in). Has Amelia somehow recognised a previously used email on my computer, even through another google account? I'm very confused.
Also even though I have it set to WP Mail and I'm using Brevo, it still sent the emails to the emails straight to junk. It was an outlook account.
Can you please help. This is very worrying for me that the notifications will go somewhere completely unexpected instead of to the email address added at checkout.
Is it a setting I have selected or has Amelia just done something really random here.
We are not completely sure what exactly the issue is. But Amelia can not send the mail to wrong address unless this address is somehow related to that user. This can happen only if you have created some conflict of roles.
Most likely if you test booked or booked on the front end while logged in to WordPress.
Can you please check in WordPress users if you have several roles added to this user? For example admin and employee or employee and customer. etc. Or if this user has the same mail as other user for example admin/manager and employee or employee and customer. etc.
If this is the case then you should know you can not be Admin and manager to admin and employee, etc at the same time since this leads to conflict within the plugin. You need to have only one role per user only admin or only manager or only employee. Every role has different permission and if you combine them Amelia can not function properly.
You need to disconnect other roles from that user and that mail and to create a separate user with separatemail for each role and make sure to purge the cache afterward.
After that Amelia should work properly again. Please do that and let us know how it goes.
