Stripe is not working for me. I receive the error "Sorry, there was an error processing your payment. Please try again later."
I can see the following error details from Stripe but cannot confirm if this has something to do with the settings within Amelia or the settings within stripe...
"This PaymentIntent is configured to accept payment methods enabled in your Dashboard. Because some of these payment methods might redirect your customer off of your page, you must provide a `return_url`. If you don't want to accept redirect-based payment methods, set `automatic_payment_methods[enabled]` to `true` and `automatic_payment_methods[allow_redirects]` to `never` when creating Setup Intents and Payment Intents."
Thanks for reaching out to us. Can you please go through the steps in this video we created for using Stripe?
In the video, we explain how to test if your Stripe functionality works correctly with Amelia using the Stripe Test Mode.
We also highlight some troubleshooting tips:
If you've already switched Stripe in the Amelia Payment settings to "Test Mode" and left it that way, you won't be able to perform transactions with real/live cards. In other words, if Amelia is in Test Mode and you try using a real card, an error will occur.
Another issue may arise if you switch from Test to Live Mode but forget to input the correct Live Stripe credentials in the Amelia settings (or leave them blank).
If you’ve already checked these points and are still unable to identify the issue, we can assist by performing our own Stripe Test on your site, with your permission. After testing, we will revert everything back to its original state.
To proceed, please provide a temporary WordPress admin (administrator) user account for the site where this issue occurs. This will allow us to log in and investigate the issue directly, which is the most efficient way to troubleshoot and resolve it.
Rest assured, we will only interact with the plugin and will not interfere with any data or other site components, especially if this is a live production site. We also do not share login details with any third parties.
You can share the credentials here by marking your reply as PRIVATE, so only we can see them.
