    Hi there - I'm trying to use your Amelia plug in for the booking of retreats on my website.  All generally seems to be good, but within the customer front end of the booking pop up, on the pop up page that shows different booking (ticketing) options, clicking on an option does not show that an option has been selected.  This means that the customer can't see or adjust what he or she has selected and booked.  That's a major flaw and really not at all OK from a customer use perspective.  Can you please provide me guidance as to how to fix this problem.  What I want is for whatever the customer has selected to show up as selected on that screen of the booking pop up.  Thanks for your help.  I've attached a page showing where the problem is.

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Amelia does not have this issue so this can be one of two things

    1. Did you added some custom styles? If you did please remove them and all should be fine
    2. Try and change the theme and see how it goes then but in most cases this is the issue with added custom styles.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Marco - thanks for your response.  I am not trained in technology, so understand little about all this.  The theme for the site was custom developed and I can't change the theme without risking the functionality of other things.

    In terms of custom styles, I assume you mean custom styles with respect to the functionality provided by Amelia?  I haven't added any custom styles to the Amelia functionality.  I have used the settings in events to set the color schemes for the buttons etc, but those are the only style changes.  I did add the terms acceptance button, but the problem I am writing about was present before I did so.

    Hi there - I've now narrowed what I think is really wrong.  The problem is that The front end of the Event Booking form doesn't visually confirm a reservation selection.  If the customer checks a plus button to reserve, the number of reservations is reduced, but there is nothing confirming for the customer visually that the reservation has been made.  I'm attaching screen shots showing before and after the reserve button has been pressed.  The number of reservations has gone down, but there is nothing telling the customer what the customer has reserved.

    Hi there - here's a further thought on options for changes that could address the problem:

    1 - Change the "Registrations Left" down counter to a "Registrations Selected" up counter

    2- Leave the Registrations Left down counter and add a  "Registrations Selected" up counter

    3- Leave the Registrations Left down counter and add, at the bottom or that page in the form, a new section showing a summary of what the customer has selected - that is, the same information that is currently shown at the top of the Payment pop up page.

    3 - Don't change that Registration Selection step page in the event registration form at all, but add a new pop up page that confirms registrations selected before the customer is asked to provide customer name and contact details - the page would be inserted in the process between the page for selecting registrations and the page for providing name information and personal details.  In other words, add a new pop up that shows the Summary information included on the Payment page before the customer is asked to.

    Please let me know which of these would be easiest to implement and how I can implement.

    Thanks.

    Hi there - here's yet a further observation and thought for fixing my problem.  Looking more carefully at some of your guidance on how to set up the events booking form, it looks like your form should be showing a registration count - but isn't.  In other words, I think that what I want is simply the functionality your plugin should normally provide - a button on the ticketing from that has a - on the left and a + on the right and that keeps a count of how many registrations for each type of registration or ticket the customer has added as the customer adds registrations.  So it seems that there is something on my site that is blocking your plug in from showing the events form properly on the front end.  Assuming your plug-in should be providing the functionality I'm looking for without changes, an you please help me figure out what that is and how to fix it?

    Hi there - with respect, this is not an acceptable response.  All you have to do to understand the problem I'm having with the Amelia form on my website is take 30 seconds to go onto the site and click through the event booking form I have on my site. Apparently you haven't bothered to do that.  With respect, that's terrible customer service and not OK. My problem is very simple, and it's in the title of this ticket.  The registration count that should be on the register page of the Events List booking form does not show.  It should show 0 when the customer first opens the page in the booking form and should increase with each click of the + button and decrease with each click of the - button.  I would like a different representative please to handle my problem and a phone number to use for customer support.

    Here's one of the spots on my site where the Amelia booking form that does not work is located:

    Hello again,

    We are truly sorry to hear that you feel this way, and we believe there may have been some misunderstanding. I have personally visited your website and noticed the issue. Please rest assured that your ticket was forwarded to our developers yesterday. They are already looking into the problem and will do their best to resolve it as soon as possible.

    It appears that this issue is not directly related to Amelia. It might be caused by your theme overriding our styles or by custom styles added either by you or your web developer. Nevertheless, we will thoroughly investigate and do everything we can to assist you.

    As mentioned, your ticket is with our developers, and they are actively working on it. There’s no need to worry, and we will contact you as soon as we receive feedback from them.

    Additionally, we kindly requested temporary admin access to your website. Providing this access would save time in case the developers need to access your site directly. If you could share that with us, it would help expedite the resolution.

    Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

    Hello again,

    We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that this is a theme CSS conflict. If you remove all the custom CSS you’ve added and replace it with the following CSS:

    .amelia-v2-booking #amelia-container .el-input-number .el-input__inner {
        width: 100% !important;
    }

    It will look like this:

    We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
