Thanks for reaching out to us. This probably occurred because of the change between the text / HTML mode in WooCoomerce MetaData and Description. It's not recommended to change between these two settings, since if you already have HTML code in the description, existing HTML tags could be lost.
As for the shortcodes, yes, Amelia does have a shortcodes for preselected services / events on the booking form. You can find them here.
The following list of URL parameters can be added to achieve this:
ameliaEventId: The ID of the event that will pre-filter Event-related shortcodes;
ameliaEventTag: A specific tag added to an event that will pre-filter Event-related shortcodes;
ameliaServiceId: The ID of the service that will pre-filter appointment-booking shortcodes;
ameliaEmployeeId: The ID of a specific employee that will pre-filter appointment-booking shortcodes;
ameliaCategoryId: The ID of a specific category that will pre-filter appointment-booking shortcodes;
ameliaLocationId: The ID of a specific location that will pre-filter appointment-booking shortcodes (can only be used for Service-related booking forms, not Event-related booking forms);
ameliaEventPopup: Enter the event ID of the event to be opened on page load.
Please, let me know if this is what you are looking for or if I can help with anything else.
Hi, I use Woocommerce to process payments for Amelia bookings.
There are a lot of line breaks on both the "Thank You" page and the Woocommerce emails. This creates very large spacing (especially on mobile).
Is Amelia causing these many line breaks? Can this be adjusted?
I also have the following question: Can a shortcode (not URL) be used to specify that a service is preselected in the booking form?
best regards
