Amelia sends email notifications in situations we specify. Is it possible for Amelia to send a notification to the advisor about a new reservation only when someone (a client) books through the website, but not when an administrator adds such a reservation?
Currently, Amelia sends notifications for new reservations based on the settings you configure, but there is no built-in option to differentiate between client bookings and administrator-added bookings. In Amelia, notifications are sent whenever an appointment is created or modified, regardless of who created it.
To avoid sending notifications for admin-added bookings, you may need to manually disable notifications for certain situations, or check if there are updates or changes to this feature in upcoming releases of Amelia.
I hope this helps clarify the situation! Let me know if you need more details.
You're welcome! To notify therapists about client payments, Amelia doesn’t send payment-specific notifications directly. However, this can be managed by enabling the Payment Link feature:
Allow Payment via Email or Customer Panel: Customers can make payments through email notifications or their Customer Panel.
Status Update on Payment: If the default booking status is set to Pending, you can enable Update Appointment Status. Once a payment is processed, the status automatically changes to Approved, triggering the associated notification (e.g., an appointment confirmation).
This indirectly notifies therapists when a payment is made, as the updated status sends the corresponding email.

Ok, thank you very much. Does Amelia have the option to notify therapists about a payment made by a client?
