Thank you for being so understanding, and we hope you enjoy the long weekend!
Thank you so much for the great project!
I have a question regarding customizing services in Amelia based on geographic regions. Is there a way to configure Amelia to offer unique services to users in specific countries or areas?
For instance, I would like to provide telehealth services for free to victims in war zones, while maintaining regular service fees for users in other areas. Is this level of customization possible, and if so, how can it be implemented?
Thank you for your guidance!
Best regards
Hello Tom,
Thank you for reaching out and for your kind words about the project!
Regarding your question, Amelia does not have a built-in feature to differentiate services or pricing based on the geographic location of users. However, there are some potential workarounds you could consider:
1. Using Separate Booking Pages for Each RegionYou could create distinct booking pages for each region or user group (e.g., one page for telehealth services in war zones and another for regular services). Then:
- Assign specific services with unique pricing to each page.
- Share the appropriate link with the respective users.
2. Manually Adjusting Services Based on User InformationIf users provide their location during booking (via a custom field added to the booking form), you could manually verify their location and adjust fees or apply discounts accordingly.
3. Coupon Codes for Free ServicesYou could offer coupon codes for eligible users to book telehealth services for free. Provide these codes to users in war zones to waive fees during booking.
4. Third-Party IntegrationsUsing a tool like GeoIP-based plugins for WordPress, you can redirect users to specific pages based on their location. Combined with Amelia’s shortcodes, this could serve to offer region-specific services automatically.
If these solutions do not fully meet your needs or you have additional questions, feel free to let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist further!
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
