    wpDataTables has predetermined the database it wants me to select tables from, but I want to use a different database where all the data I wish to display is located.

    Saw the video, and kind of understand what the basic issue was.

    So from my provider I'll need to find:

    • The PDO driver used
    • what IP address I need for the field "host" since it's on my web host server
    • User and password I assume are those I use to log in to my web host administration
