I’m using the Pro version of Amelia with 3 one-hour time slots per day and a maximum capacity of 10 people per time slot. We have three pricing structures: Solo, Duo, and Group.
The issue is that when a Solo booking is made, the time slot is marked as unavailable, even though there’s still capacity for 9 more people. I need the system to allow multiple bookings in the same time slot until the capacity of 10 is reached.
When you offer group classes you need to enable the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" in Amelia/settings/appointment settings. When this is enabled, multiple customers will be able to book the same time slot, without having to fill in the minimum capacity.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
If I book a group booking which is one of 3 services/price structures, it will then allow me to make another group booking on that time slot, but if I make a group booking and then book a solo booking or duo booking, the time slot is not available. Should I be using just one service and somehow make 3 pricing structures within that service? (if that is possible) or should I create a recurring event?
I'm afraid we don't understand what exactly you want to achieve and what exactly is the issue? Can you explain in a little more detail and send us some screenshots or a short one-minute video?
Apologies for the confusion. I will explain again.
We have 10 spots available per 1hour time slot.
I have 3 pricing structures.
Solo: 1 person - $40
Duo: 2 persons - $70
Group: minimum 3 persons - $35pp
How do I achieve this as a service with the 3 pricing structures? 1 time slot can take up to 10 persons max.
So if 1 client orders books a solo, the time slot needs to remain open so that another client can book a duo or a group booking in the same time slot until that time slot reaches our max which is 10 persons.
If the max is reached across all 3 pricing structures, then the 1 hour time slot should become unavailable..
Could I please have someone explain to me how to achieve this with Amelia.
Perhaps this can be achieved in a way via resources. You can create 3 services and 1 resource for all 3 services and set shared capacity to be 10. You can rad more about resources on this link https://wpamelia.com/resource-booking/.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.

Thank you for your answer. Why do I need to open a seperate ticket? This is still the same unresolved issue I am having.
Could I please get somebody who is actually willing to help look into this for me. I have the pro version of your plugin and I would have thought the support would have been a little better.
Even with using "resources" and setting it to 10 across all services. I am not able to book more than 1 service per time slot. This is a pretty basic request. I would like someone else to please help me with this or contact me directly on [email protected]. This has gone on now for over 2 weeks.
Thank you for your feedback. Could you please confirm whether you’ve applied the settings we suggested? If so, kindly share screenshots of your current setup so we can review them.
The issue should be resolved if the settings were implemented as advised.
Additionally, as mentioned earlier, this can be achieved using resources. You would need to create three services and one resource shared among all three services, with the shared capacity set to 10.
