I have several series in Apex line charts displayed as areas. This doesn't work anymore. In one chart I see an option (in the tab Series): "Chart line/area image" and I have to upload an image or paste a URL...?! URL to what?
In another chart, also Apex line chart, same setup different table, I don't even see that option in "Series"? What's going on?
When I want to roll back, I see Installed: 7.0.1 But Rollback is to 3.4.2.32 ?
I restored a backup. So it looks fine again. Please do some better testing before you roll out an update. Or do not make it look like a minor update if you change essential code (7.0 -> 7.0.1).
I became hesitative to use this software on critical websites; this is the second time in a few months that the charts simply don't work anymore after updating. Please be more careful.
I have set up a test site for you to replicate the problem/bug. Since you don't respond, shall I take it offline again?

What I can say at this point is that we excluded the option to change the types in Series tab when you have a Line Chart created with Apex and (if I'm not mistaken) we did that because Apex changed the logic for generating combo charts. Since their logic caused our charts to no longer work, we had to remove that option to release a stable version of the plugin. I don't know if we'll be able to restore the multi-series chart but I escalated this to our development team, so they'll take a look at it.

Thank you for your info. I'm convinced it can be figured out technically. From experience I know how annoying changing formats or API specs can be. Developers don't like it but it's part of the game, I'm afraid. I didn't use Highcharts ayt the time because I couldn't control the axes labels (dates) in the way I can with Apex, it simply places the string I provide in the Excel file. I've proven to be patient, haven't I? :) I'll wait a bit longer, no problem. The version I use now still works fine. I sure hope that the developers will pick it up though.

I bought the plugin because it was able to do combo charts... It feels as if I'm the only one who uses combo charts!
I hope our developers will be able to figure something out - let's give them time before we jump to conclusions.
Currently, Highcharts also offers combo charts so you can check them out in the meantime.

Anyway, please download the zipped file attached to my response and extract the files in it over existing files:

Purge the cache, test it out, and let me know how it goes.
It's already been sent to testing and it should be included in the 7.1.1 update.
