Hello. I would like to add a custom field so I can have zip code input for the public to book ticket events. Unfortunately, when I select a custom field type and click save with a notification "Success Custom field has been added" but nothing shows up. Can you please help on this? Thank you.
Issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
Hi Uros. Thank you for your reply and help on this. You are right and it is a theme conflict with My Listing theme by 27collective. I was able to still use both the theme and use the custom fields by enabling another wordpress theme and creating the custom field. When finished, I just switch back to my My Listing theme. The custom fields list disappears but the custom field on the form itself is still visible. A small setback but something to keep in mind when working with.
Thank you for the update and for sharing your workaround! That’s a clever approach to resolving the conflict with the My Listing theme by 27collective while still using the custom fields. It’s good to know that the fields remain functional on the form itself even if the list isn’t visible in the backend.
If you encounter any other issues or need further assistance while working with this setup, don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for your patience and persistence in finding a solution! 😊
