I had version 6.2.3 of Amelia on my website, and yesterday we updated to version 7.9. With the update, 7 categories that I had created and 27 services were lost.
However, in the service counter, I see that there are 27, but when scheduling an appointment, they do not appear available.
I tried to recreate the categories, but when clicking save, the creation confirmation does not appear, meaning it is not created.
Can you help me verify if the issue is due to the update or tell me how I can solve it?
No this is not due to the update or we would have 80000+ tickets related to this.
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
You probably booked for a customer while you were logged in as an admin. Please note that when you do this in the future you should always do it from the incognito window.
This customer, probably along with a few others, was probably created by you booking an appointment in their stead from the front-end, while you were still logged in as Administrator.
This can happen when the customer has the type set to "Admin" in wp_amelia_users table in the database.
Simply navigate to this database table, find the customer that reported this, and you'll most likely see that the type associated with the user is "Admin". Change that to "Customer", and that's it, The second option is that you can find him in the database in wp_amelia_users you will see that that customer has the same mail like admin in that case you will need to delete that customer.
Hope this helps.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
